Morning at Morningside Park.
Located a stone’s throw from Columbia University, Morningside Heights is technically in Harlem. The park itself first opened in 1895, after 22 years of development. Although it may be a staple of the area now, it can be hard to believe that it was in its third decade of construction before it was opened to the public.
