Amelia Gorman Park is a gorgeous park located in the Fort George section of Washington Heights in Manhattan. The park is bounded by Broadway on the west and Wadsworth Terrace on the east, stretching from 188th to 190th Streets. The park is situated on a steep hill, rising more than a hundred feet from Broadway to Wadsworth Terrace. This terrace-like park offers numerous sitting areas and an expansive view of Hudson Heights from the Wadsworth Terrace entrance. A wide descending stone staircase leads out to Broadway, but this has been closed for some time now.
