One of the oldest U.S. military installations is now a National Park in NYC.

Right next to the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge in Staten Island is Fort Wadsworth. While some of the park’s attractions are closed due to COVID-19, the park itself has remained open. Although it was freezing cold when we went, the views from the park were absolutely stunning. We are definitely planning to come back in the future.
