The Irish Hunger memorial is a touching display in downtown Manhattan.
The Irish Hunger Memorial is located adjacent to Rockefeller Park in Battery City Park, Manhattan. It’s right by a ferry terminal, and it is all quite gorgeous during sunsets. Rockefeller Park is a nice place to relax and catch some views of the Hudson River, whereas the Irish Hunger Memorial is a solemn, but well-constructed attempt to memorialize the Irish Potato Famine.
