Despite a popular misconception, Wave Hill is not a privately-owned park, although  there is an entry fee on six out of the seven days of the week. (Thursday is free admission for everyone.) Most influencers focus on the great views of the Hudson River (which are lovely) but miss out on the other great aspects of Wave Hill.
