Despite a snow squall ambush, this was a great hike.

A short Metro-North ride away, we found ourselves right on the Hudson River in Beacon. There are a bunch of different trails, but we opted for one that could best accommodate the range of experience with the hikers in our group. It was more pleasant before the snow squall than it was after, but I don’t think any of us have any regrets.
